Vika’s mentorship philosophy:
“Our chief want in life is to find somebody who can help us fulfill our dreams. That’s why mentorship is a critical component for building a successful startup. The mentor-mentee relationship is a process based on trust and effort invested by both the mentor and mentee. A good mentor should provide effective advice to help a new business owner overcome most obstacles along the way. But a mentee can only grow if they are honest about their business goals, personal flaws & capabilities and are willing to listen, learn, and implement each given advice.”
Personal Achievements and Awards:
Noted for her achievements in the field of business law, Vika has received multiple awards, including an inclusion in the Marquis Who’s Who in America® biographical volumes, AV Preeminent Rating via Martindale Hubbell, the Thomson Reuters Corporation award, the Houstonia Magazine Top Lawyers award, and National Diversity Council Top 50 General Counsel award, Texas Women in Energy and Top Lawyers, to only name a few. She also trains at Alliance Fencing Academy as a competitive and nationally medaled US Epee Fencer. Fencing helps Victoria with maintaining mental acuity and physical agility necessary to stay alert, fit and motivated.
Vika attributes much of her success to her strong work ethic and passion for helping people. Long dedicated to civic advocacy, she has served as a member at the Pro Bono College of the State Bar of Texas, where she donates a minimum of 75 hours each year to serving the underprivileged Texas community. Vika believes that giving back is a key for success and professional growth: “When you give, expect no benefit or recognition. Your sole reward should be the realization that you’ve made a difference, effecting a positive change.”
